Q: What is the difference between a White Brat and a Red Brat?
A: If you've ever had a delicious brat before, you've probably had a white brat. The WHITE BRAT is a traditional pork brat soaked in beer and onions before being grilled to perfection. The RED BRAT is our specialty that you can only get here. It is a mixture of pork and beef that is smoked and then butterfly cut. It is particularly tasty with cheddar cheese melted on top!
Q: Can we buy your brats in bulk? Do you ship them?
A: Yes, you can buy our Red Brats in either 5 lb. or 10 lb. boxes in person at our restaurant. However, we do NOT ship our brats.
Q: Do you have gift certificates? Can I order them over the phone or e-mail?
A: Yes, we have gift certificates for any amount over $5.00. You can purchase them in person or we can mail them to you. You just need to call or e-mail us with a credit card (either Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover) with the credit card number and expiration date and the address you would like them sent to.
Q: What sports packages do you have? What events do you show?
A: At SSB, sports are always showing on our 25 TVs. Our sports packages include: NFL Network, NFL Sunday Ticket, MLB Total Package, ESPN U, Deportes, Gol TV, Setanta Sports Network, Regional FSN Network, and all local Charter Digital Cable Channels. We also have certain UFC or boxing fights. Check back on our website or call to find out about specific fights.
Q: I was there last night and my debit/credit card now says I'm being charged $50, but I know I didn't spend that much. What's going on?
A: Don't worry, if you open a tab here at SSB we pre-authorize your credit card and give it back to you. Our system automatically pre-authorizes your card up to $50. Some banks will hold on to that charge for a few days, but after those few days it will drop off.
Q: Where is there parking?
A: Parking is available right behind our building in the Frances Street Parking Ramp. Sorry, we do not validate parking.
Q: Do you take reservations? Can we reserve the upstairs?
A: We do not take reservations-the seating style at SSB is first come, first serve. If you are thinking of having a private party you can reserve the upstairs for a $400 exclusive use fee as long as there is no event going on that night. If you have a smaller group that would like to come in during the day or evening we can set up an in-house event with special pricing on food. Call or e-mail us if you are interested in hosting an event at SSB!
